The Paul S. Bielich Scholarship Award is
a $1,000 scholarship awarded to a graduating, SSF member,
high school senior.
CRITERIA OF APPLICANT
• Application limited to high school seniors
• Applicant must be an active member of their local
active SSF member choir prior to the start of their
Senior year of high school
• Baptized in the Eastern Orthodox Faith of Serbian
descent
• Acceptance letter at an accredited junior college or
university
• Evidence of academic performance with a minimum k3.0
grade point average
• Official sealed high school transcript
• Biography and aspirations of applicant including
extra-curricular activity within choir, church and
school. Biography must be written by applicant and a
current non-returnable photo of the applicant should be
included.
• Signature of applicant, parents, choir president,
choir secretary, choir director and parish priest
• Application MUST be received by May 14, 2011 at the
SSF Headquarters
No incomplete/late applications will be accepted
SELECTION OF SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT
Selection of the recipient will be made by the
evaluation of the applicant’s credentials/application by
the Executive Board. All decisions of the Executive
Board are final. The SSF Executive Board has the
discretion as to the number of scholarships awarded in a
given year.
The recipient(s) will be announced at the Choral
Festival in Steubenville, OH
