The Paul S. Bielich Scholarship Award is
a $1,000 scholarship awarded to a graduating, SSF member,
high school senior.
CRITERIA OF APPLICANT
• Application limited to high school seniors
• Applicant must be an active member of their local,
active SSF member choir prior to the start of their
Senior year of high school
• Baptized in the Eastern Orthodox Faith of Serbian
descent
• Anticipated high school diploma and acceptance at an
accredited junior college or university
• Evidence of academic performance with a minimum k3.0
grade point average
• Copy of high school transcript
• Biography and aspirations of applicant including
extra-curricular activity within choir, church and
school
• Signature of applicant, parents, choir president,
choir secretary, choir director and parish priest
• Application MUST be received by the Executive
Secretary by May 15, 2010.
SELECTION OF SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT
• Selection of the recipient will be made by the
evaluation of the applicant’s credentials by the
Executive Board. All decisions of the Executive Board
are final.
• The recipient will be announced at the Choral Festival
in Chicago.
